Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Medicine (NTA LEVEL 6)

The Ordinary Diploma programme in Clinical Medicine is a three year programme, which has been developed to suit the needs of Government’s commitment to improve health care provision, labour market demands, legal and professional needs that exist in our country. It is one of the initiatives done by the Government to modernize qualifications within the health sector and optimize transferability within and across sectors and disciplines.  .It is categorized into three NTA LEVELS which are (NTA LEVEL 4), (NTA LEVEL 5) and (NTA LEVEL 6). Each level takes one year of study. A student is supposed to pass through these levels.

Selection and Admission Requirements
Admission to this programme is open to candidates who have a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a minimum of twenty eight points (28).

Direct entrants must have a minimum of ‘D’ pass in all science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). A pass in English and Mathematics is an added advantage for both programmes.
